   I skimmed it. I think the author considered various alternatives: was it Deep State? manipulated? heavily Antifa infiltrated? peaceful regular white working class (or WC as we leftists used to put it in 60s-early 70s). I believe he settled mainly on the last.

   The best is to think of it almost in the way of some sorts of physics theory where you don’t really know exactly but you have to assume it’s probably a bit of each and maybe something else you haven’t quite formulated yet.

   I also think it’s best to try to attribute the best of motives to the large number of people there and to hope they recognize the best of motives in themselves. (Personally, like many (not all) people with extreme leftist background I am highly sympathetic to many Trump supporters if less so to Trump himself.)

   The author writes, “We need a new movement and better leaders who are more responsive to what ordinary American people really want”. The orientation is at best partially correct. We need not just “a” brand new movement that could come with new branding but a completely different sort of thing. The branding is confining and subject to manipulation and control, and allows for control of its consumers. People should increasingly see themselves as their own leaders, who join in cooperative fashion, voluntarily, after thinking it over.

   Another thing to be worked on: the author writes about the people there as white working class.

   Can you imagine if a new movement or party (speaking in the broadest possible terms — an entirely different sort of party never ever seen before) were to start with the white working class described above trying to invite, for example, the disaffected blacks to join in?

   Can you imagine how much those in charge would freak out? It would be as much as a nightmare for them if not more than if the extreme left and right were to unite.

   A group of left-radical blacks writes of pretty much all the black D’s and blacks you see on TV as the “black misleadership class”. You might as well consider virtually all the whites you see on TV (“liberal”, “conservative”, D,R) as the “white misleadership class” .

   Don’t you think that any number of blacks think that the black misleadership class sucks? Trump got lots of black votes. Some may have liked him, but it may have been the case as with lots of whites who voted for him that they hated Biden or were voting against the rulers in general. Many blacks, the ones not with gov’t jobs, not on TV, not with big pay affirm action hires — in other words the vast vast majority — know they are being fed poison, both literally (food) as well as ideologically whether in school or on TV etc. A welcome might be in order, no?
