And intra-day, the pattern of higher hourly lows has been strangely consistent … starting from 1am Eastern, 1919, 1925, 1928, 1930, 1931, 1934 … all these are approximate numbers looking at goldprice.org chart with naked eye.
I am hoping everyone is having a super day today. We are at day 1 above the BB. We should get at least two more before any possible resistance. The volume is good and institutions are buying intra day which is usually a no no.
Interesting point, Sir Noman.
Happy to say that this is something new I learned today “We are at day 1 above the BB. We should get at least two more before any possible resistance.”
So I fulfilled my learning quota/criteria for the day … “that day is a waste when one doesn’t learn something new”
But, what BB is this one? And if we do get two more days above this BB, could the 3rd/4th day have a move outside the BB?
On a GDXJ daily chart we are 5 points above the Bollinger Bands. On a break out gap like this one we can stay above the BB only so long before we cannot. Unless we are repeating 1979 where it gapped every day for months…
Some fodder for the wordsmith soothsayers out there.

Just wild questions … nothing else

Sorry, I was looking at the HUI. It is 7 points above its Bollinger Band.
Those dang bollinger bands…
