In a video, a nurse (wearing a loosely fitting mask) suddenly falls to ground, only moments after saying how “excited” she was (she actually sounds about as excited as a root canal patient) to have been injected with the high-risk COVID-19 vaccine (to save her from a low-risk common cold virus).
This was live footage, so they couldn’t edit it out. Skip forward to 11:48 (unless you want to listen to the doctors’ monotone “in praise of the vaccine” speech) to see how Big-Pharma rewards frontline workers…

It is best to emphasize the best data, the best arguments. I am not sure this episode qualifies. I have strong suspicions that the episode might have occurred with normal saline.
First of all, we need to know more about the nurse’s history. There are some people who faint easily (‘vaso-vagal reactions’). Some people even are at risk for severe reactions when recumbent for blood drawing. It can be so severe that they will pass out and have seizures when stuck with a needle. Routinely. For all sorts of stuff like blood drawing. These can be perfectly normal people if you talk with them. They are just wired in an anomalous fashion. Look it up.
More common is for people — it is typically the tough young male (body builder etc) types, but often the young females or sometimes the older tough guys — who are standing up with some sort of needlish thing happening. If they happen to be anxious or excited or wanting to show off (potentially being on TV may not help) may make the tendency to faint worse. Nothing whatsoever has to be injected. It’s just the needle and standing up. It’s a thing. It’s a common thing. If they are extremely well hydrated and maybe premedicated they are less likely to do it, but a needle jab and … Mr or Ms super-healthy just crumples whether immediately or after a while … or just gets queasy.
It could be the vaccine. Or the vaccine on top of the above. Or not.
Whatever it was it was a PR disaster…which is Great !
