I don’t trust any of them.
A couple of days ago someone on ZH (before its latest change) was complaining about Parler, perhaps wrongly.
I rely mainly on duckduckgo but have seen complaints (ZH? off-guardian?) about things not appearing on it – seemingly because of deliberate removal or de-emphasis. I have the impression this complaint may be correct. People have had to go to yandex, dogpile, other.
I have seen complaints on ZH and gatewaypundit about OAN and Newsmax that seemed intuitively correct. I won’t go into them, but I wouldn’t trust them.
I personally think it’s not a good thing to want to rely on sources that mirror your own perspective, so I think that it’s good that MeWe (which I have never used) has liberal origins if you define yourself as conservative, but it does, according to my brief research.
Karl, You got it right in your first sentence. “I don’t trust any of them.” Like Ronald Reagan said about the Russians, “Trust but Verify”. You use as many of them as exist but you don’t accept any of them as gospel. That is how you get a broad spectrum of info and you use logic, common sense and critical thinking to determine what you believe.
