Even more frightening is the fact that NASDAQ wants to impose these rules on private companies as well. Adena Friedman, Nasdaq’s CEO, said: “The ideal outcome would be for the S.E.C. to take a role here. They could actually apply it to public and private companies because they oversee the private equity industry as well.”
Get one old guy to identify as a woman, and one to show up in head to toe leather demanding that his/her/their pronouns be respected. Problem solved!

Appointments to Board positions must be based on ability, competence, track record and experience.

More and more SJW types are infiltrating HR departments everywhere and in fact becoming heads of the dept. At some point enforceable US laws need to be established where any PRO or ANTI group discrimination considerations (race sex religion etc) must be illegal – 100% merit. This race/sex reparations mentality will never go away so long as society accepts (or turns a blind eye toward) discrimination that favors a certain class while ignoring the fact that it hurts another << this IS the definition of racism. If a Univ has a pro-minority hiring policy – that IS racism in action. It's so obvious but conservatives have cowered in fear of pointing this out to the leftist mob (accepted guilt). Until that happens the cancer of cultural marxism will continue to grow. Protected Class laws & Hate Crime laws (some of which conservatives have championed/accepted) – until those are eradicated, this country will always be at risk of becoming full socialist/communist and there will be no peace (as they like to say).
