Loading ...I Don’t Get It
A question for anyone who can enlighten me. Some of these moves by various Governors seem totally useless. I understand that after the first heavy handed lockdown restrictions many of them are trying to avoid lawsuits and criticism of their proclamations. Can someone please tell me what is the value of restrictions such as 10PM cut offs for restaurants and curfews? If they already have masks and 6ft social distancing in place, what difference does it make if a restaurant or other business that is open from 5AM to 10PM shuts at that time how does that prevent spread of a virus. Since these places have occupancy restrictions at limited numbers from normal and crowds are more likely to be smaller after 10PM anyway(we are not talking about niteclubs that sometimes don’t get going until then) why are they forced to close an hour or two before most them would anyway? Does the virus only come out late at night like the boogeyman? Sheesh!
It’s not suppose to make sense, trial balloons to see how much control and invasiveness into peoples lives they will endure before pushback. The boot is on the neck and if it isn’t Covid it’s sure to be something else. So far as I can tell the higher the population density, the more believers there are.
YYZ, you are absolutely right, imo. They are experimenting with totalitarian control and we are the guinea pigs. I’ve come to the conclusion that at least 50% of the population wants to be controlled. I guess that has always been the case with totalitarian societies. Otherwise they’d never get started. It’s the other 50% or perhaps less that has to break up their evil plans.

In my neck of the woods, it is over 70%, more like 80%, that are ok to be controlled! Anyone even questioning the govt.’s orders is called a Covidiot!

Forums like NextDoor, the neighborhood discussion board, delete any posts which question the govt’s narrative? How do I know this? Well, a preview of a new post comes in the email? Guess what, any such post, before, it can be read and commented on, gets struck down by the NextDoor internal post police.
We think people like Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg are the ones that are the bad guys … in California, the left’s censorship has become unbelievable, under the garb of this hoax virus.

It’s always a good idea to know what reality is for those who are still on the blue pill have but if you stay there long enough, it gets depressing. I never post on NextDoor, just like I never “believe” MSM. But I go to Next Door to see what the herd is saying, and what the herd is doing to “support” Governor Nuisance’s orders! There are so many good Christians there, who are saying, for humanity’s sake, let people live! Those who are not dying of the virus are being KILLED by these totalitarian dictates! Yes, it is beyond depressing now! But I come from India, where I learnt not to believe anything the government says! Never even liked Modi ! He was considered God by many Hindus! They said to me … how come you’re a Hindu and you don’t like what Modi “is doing for the nation” … and then this virus happened, and the draconian lockdowns by Modi … I hope the sheeple in my birth country are waking up! That Modi the snake oil salesman, said to his patriots … we will have a vaccine ready by India’s Independence Day … August 15th 2020 … What can Biden actually do about the virus? I’m glad you mentioned Modi – I knew the guy’s true colors as a globalist when he did away with paper currency toward all digital creating social mayhem (especially among the unbanked and very poor) – then again when his gov’t tried to sell an investment product that was ‘backed by gold’ and included a yield – that was a FLOP – another effort to get private citizens to part with their PM. The guy is all in with the CB Elite – from Macron, Trudeau, Merkel etc.
You probably have a much better analysis and first hand experience with Modi’s efforts to re-financialize the country.

It was no coincidence that Modi did the “demonetization” on the same night as Trump won … the CB Elite already have their moves planned in case an election goes against their expectation. C’mon …. how could a goddess like Hillary lose?? LOL.

My friends back in India do tell me about the economic hardship in Modi’s second term.
But the alternative – Congress Party and their candidate for Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi – has been, and currently is, the butt of all jokes.
Sad state of affairs, no matter where you look.
This decade will be a decade of economic hardship for the middle class, and their descending towards lower levels of living, even poverty. My hope is that this hardship spins India out of the vicious circle of credit card borrowed lifestyle, which had really picked up in the last 15 or so years.
