Recounts are being proposed.
I suspect they are MOSTLY useless, but I could be missing something.

Here’s my take … distinguishing between walk in voters and mail ins.

Walk in voters leave no paper trail, other than that they voted. Not how.
I doubt there’s enormous potential for VOTER FRAUD from machine voting. (Instead, its “election” fraud)
ELECTION FRAUD is another matter. The Dallas 2018 forensics I posted, and the MIT analysis out today appears to indicate that databases are permanently altered, likely without a trace. They called that election fraud.
Any digital recounts will simply retabulate the final (fraudulent) electronic records. Original records can’t be recovered. HAMR etc leaves no tracing.

Mail ins …. if there were issues with signatures on the envelopes, addresses, etc and they were segregated. Good.
That may be all they can do anything with.

Here’s the key issue … if the ballots were approved (with or without an observer present),
then the ballot is removed from the envelope, and the two can never again be reunited.
The ballot must be anonymous, so the egg can’t be put back into the same shell it came from.
So even if the fictional envelopes have been preserved, and they find a problem, they don’t KNOW which votes to remove.

Aside from those ballots pulled aside and never tabulated, recounts just retabulate the fraud.
