   I agree with chasing here, within reason. Ideally, people should have been buying on weakness from September through October like me. 😛

   In cycle theory, the longer you wait to buy in after a daily or intermediate cycle bottom, the higher your risk. We are 5 days into this second daily cycle in gold, and it has already made a higher high than the last first daily cycle. We will definitely be above today’s high within the next 7-10 trading days. Could you suffer a drawdown tomorrow or over the next few days? Absolutely, but reward far outweighs risk over the next few weeks.

   It’s always best to buy on red days, so I if I didn’t have any position I wouldn’t be going all in on a day like today. But to take a smallish position today–there’s nothing wrong at all about that if you have a time horizon longer than a few days.

   Buy the dip, and buy the breakout!
   For those that I missed during the historic dip in mid-March 2020, and for those that I never owned at all, buying the breakout/confirmation is my simple strategy.
