   That is the plan anyway, so from the elites perspective, this is a success case.

   If living in Spain, get out, while you still can.

   Spain has a very long history of fascist attitudes and a love for authoritarianism. Columbus, after discovering the New World for Spain was just a few years later arrested and brought back in chains. Apparently, during the Catalan crisis just a few years ago, it was reported that there are people still putting fresh flowers on Franco’s grave. I think Spain has always been a semi-police state. It will be interesting to see how long a national curfew law lasts in Catalonia. But maybe they, like so many worldwide, are still genuinely scared of this new flu and think it’s a reasonable public policy. That’s the shocking thing in all this: so many people around us are supporting the government’s authoritarian behaviour. I could even see them voting for more in the next election. If they can be convinced that people not wearing masks are a threat to public safety, what won’t they believe and support? They’ll probably be in favour of sending vaccine-resisters into internment camps –for they’re own safety as well as the public’s! It’s this widespread idiocy that worries me the most.
