SOMETHING VERY STRANGE !
ok
I use 2 browsers…The new One Brave is terrific …it blocks a lot of shit and when I open a new browser there is no news feed
The second one is Microsoft Edge…I still use it as well because my favorites are stored there and too lazy to move them
Every time I open a new browser there are dozens of news feeds..
ALL of the Trump Stories are ALWAYS 100% negative …very negative…to the point They make me ill .
BUT Just Now I opened a new browser and there are half a dozen Trump Stories ..all are Positive ( or at least neutral.
W T F >???
1…Here is one from a conservative news source Washington Examiner ( never have I see a story from them)
2…This one Blows me away…from the Most Liberal Anti Trump Anti America Antifa loving News source the Washington Post !! WHY CANADIANS SHOULD ROOT FOR ANOTHER TRUMP TERM !!
3 and 4…Newsweek ( always Anti Trump ) has 2 Positive Articles
EXTREMELY POSITIVE
QUITE POSITIVE
5…The Hill ( Usually anti Trump) posts a piece by Matt Taibbi from Rolling Stone
SCATHING CONDEMNATION OF FBK AND TWTR censorship of the Biden Story…wow
6..AND A BIGGIE FROM THE WASHINGTON TIMES …TRUMPS APPROAL RATING AT AN ALL TIME HIGH 52%
…………….
AND 7
There are still a lot of negative articles as well…but to see these on Microsoft’s feeds is stunning to say the least
I can’t believe it, Sir Fully!
I started using Brave back in March 2020, and it is a surprise to me that you’re aware of it and using it, as many even in the tech/IT industry are not familiar with it. I’m proud of you!
Personally, I’ve stopped using all other browsers after I started using Brave.
Thanks for making me aware about the brainwashing horror that comes free with Microsoft Edge.
GL
GL – can you advise as to why you really like Brave? This is first I’ve heard of it……
Brave is a great browser Kewl2
It downloads in minutes…it has add blockers built in and promotes privacy
Fast and clean
use it with DuckDuckGo as the search engine and you are free from the Beast
When I just opened a new tab, these are the stats it gave me:
338219 trackers and ads blocked.
5.87 GB bandwidth saved
4.7 hours time saved.
That’s why!
My bad … stopped reading your post after the line ” ALL of the Trump Stories are ALWAYS 100% negative …very negative…to the point They make me ill ”
So you are saying that Edge has Trump-positive stories?
yes I listed 7 of them
Both Twitter and Facebook have been subpoenaed by the US Senate and thus want to be able to point to having posted positive articles about Trump vs the existing 100% negative track record. Selling a balanced approach versus what they have really been doing. I suspect they have to appear next week so this is a self serving move to try and avoid government changes to rule 230 which currently protects them from being sued. If 230 was stripped away they would be taking great risk by favouring one political party over another as per this 2020 election.
Oops – just realized you are talking about the browser itself. I don’t know if they are involved in the subpoena but doubt it although Section 230 may still apply to them. I have noticed the daily negatively stories on MSN as well as the long-run interviews of Gates regarding the urgent need for multiply vaccines over next 10 years (yes – really – 10 years). Nevertheless – am not sure my comments above apply to browsers themselves ………..
I’m surprised that browsers HAVE news feeds.
I’m still on Firefox (52) and I block EVERYTHING.
As Fully knows, I use RSSOwl and customize my feeds. Have about 50.
Includes market blogs … anything with an RSS feed(s). Kuntsler uses RSS. So does CTH.
One thing that’s REALLY NICE is that there is a button for FULL TEXT,
so for say Epoch Times, I can read the whole article not just the teaser lead in.
Problem is that I only ‘subscribe’ to two of their feeds so the recent one on PCR tests posted here, which was from their Health section, I had to add that feed before I could get the full writeup.
Bottom line … ALL MY NEWS is accessed via ONE task item on my PC. RSSOwl is freeware.
PS … I’ve had the Brave installer on my machine, but I’m still on FF52 because of extensions that Mozilla killed at 57, and still haven’t been replaced. Nor are those functions I use available on other browsers, that I know of. (AIOS, TabMixPlus, Session Manager to name a few).
