We all know and have used the cliche, “markets don’t usually repeat but they often rhyme”. Well after I posted “Total Disconnect” I was reading an article that included a dollar chart. While I looked at a dollar chart before posting, it didn’t go back more than a year. This article’s chart was a 5 yr and the period covering 2018 jumped out at me. This may be a time where a market actually repeats. The set up is identical. I don’t look for such a strong and long lasting rally in the dollar but this chart gives me confidence about my earlier prediction of a bounce.
