You are so right about the Eastern European countries and others who have suffered under communism. Poland and Hungary have not only lived under communism, they suffered under muslim occupation for centuries. I don’t know where Mr. Spock was born but I suspect he is a typical dyed-in-the the-wool America hating Canadian. I hereby challenge him to tell us which muslim country he lives in so we can measure their official policy on women, Jews, Christians, freedom of speech, freedom of religion and Western Civilization against our Constitution and values.

I have met Spock . He is an Aussie…born and raised but has lived in a very Western Muslim Country for many years precisely because he saw all of this coming in his native Country.
The Country where he lives is very stable and hugely capitalist .

PPS…educate yourself about some of these smaller Muslim nations…Their Cities are far more successful and safe and peaceful and clean that most of the USA and Canada for that matter….It is stunning what they have done in these places…and there is no unemployment and no poverty…great examples of Capitalism as it is supposed to be.

I have met many people who cannot wait for America to fail. It is like the satisfaction that small minded people have when the rich person down the street fails. When one cannot rationalize ones own lack of success jealousy is a common path.
I shudder to think what the world would be like without America. The Man in The High Castle comes to mind.
I am pro free speech from anyone. I don’t care what you look like or what religion you are. When I see an opinion offered sometimes I feel compelled to respond. I would prefer we stick to gold/gold stocks and technical analysis.

What “constitution and values”? Here in Canada (Ontario) we are being ruled by a government that has seized emergency powers although there is no emergency aside from an outbreak of new seasonal respiratory virus which is now over. The limit to these powers is one month and can only be extended by parliamentary vote month by month but they then voted themselves the privilege to extend them themselves for a year. They seem to know how long the “emergency” is going to last! And is there is a big outcry from the opposition parties or the public or media? No. Western countries like Canada are clearly in decline if not in outright collapse politically and unless the courts will enforce the law there no longer is a constitution anymore or the values it contains like freedom of assembly, movement, expression, religion and security of person. Western countries are failing the test of upholding the values they claimed to defend and represent. What good is a constitution if it has no effect in emergency conditions?

Spock may be accurate in describing the fallout from the US govts. policies. He is completely WRONG in thinking they reflect the beliefs and desires of the American people. Trump wasn’t, nor isn’t part of those policies. He is fighting against the deep state, trying to reign in the military and all that has gone wrong over at least 50 years. America at least for now is STILL the best, greatest country for freedom, liberty and opportunity. Let’shope that doesn’t end on election day!
