I’m in the midst of the worst ever fire season in Northern California. Over 3.5% of the ENTIRE STATE has burned!
Yet I do not believe in climate change.
May God Bless Sir Fully, for seeking the truth and sharing it, be it climate change or Covid.
We, as adults, disagree a million times with our family members, does it mean we leave them?

Northstar and Patrick were and still are valued members of the Goldtent Community.
Our Mission has bifurcated with this very real existential threat to all of our well being and that of our families going forward.
We are all still Goldbugs at heart and we will continue to navigate this fascinating Sector going forward with many excellent chartists .
Unfortunately not all members are comfortable with the political and covid discussions.

Why just Twitter, I hate the censorship at a “neighborhood forum” called Nextdoor. Now, I happen to live in a somewhat-Republican, mostly white upscale suburb of San Francisco. Nextdoor, contrary to its name, just deletes every post that is not politically correct, which has recently been redefined as left-supporting / appeasing.
My M.O. is clear – the more the whites are blamed for all this anti-BLM stuff, the more I’m going to support them. And I’m a Hindu.
The more cops are blamed for “atrocities” on the blacks, the more I’m going to support them! I have seen first hand the black-population-dominated wrecks called Oakland and Richmond, cities within 25 miles of where I live. There’s no rules there, no laws followed, traffic or otherwise. What are the cops supposed to do??? Yes, they have to call backups (sometimes 2-3) before they arrest a black felon! Let’s add Mexicans to the mix as well! Wow! It wasn’t anywhere like this 20 years ago!

GL, I would humbly suggest that it is not the color of the skin of those in Oakland and Richmond that is the cause of what you’re observing – The objectives of the powers behind BLM, ANTIFA, MSM and the DEms is primarily about stoking divisiveness and hatred and erasing decades of decent people’s effort to mend racial divides, esp since the civil war – note that all of the locations you cite are run by dems nearly top to bottom – same as Chicago (aka chiraq), portland, etc. Parties that stoke hatred and mistrust between classes of people are the culprits/instigators and those who need to meet justice, not the object to which they are pointing (a persons skin color). This is not to absolve bad actors in communities of abhorent behavior but rather to avoid classism and presumed judgement of the entire group.

Having lived in this area for over 21 years, I was talking about the pre-BLM, pre-Antifa, heck, pre-Obama days.
The rest of the Bay Area always keeps donating via taxes, sister-school drives, and tons of other donations for the upliftment of these “diverse” and “not so well to do” communities. Heck, I’ve even sent my own daughters to help in such sister school drives, as part of “leadership”. My kids get $%&* scared just going to these areas.
For all this charity, this is what we get as the thank you?
I’m extremely saddened by how the things have reached this nadir. I hope it is the nadir.

There are so many people who used to post here. This site is like a embryonic incubator that many have used to go on to bigger platforms. That’s a good thing. I miss them all.
They are both on Twitter. I never used twitter but it is fine. I can follow who I want. In this case NS and Patrick, I also asked NS for a list of people he followed regarding charting. He has posted the Do(o)med chart there. I don’t know of them making any YouTube videos but they have been interviewed by Palisade Radio which is on YouTube.

Do bigger platforms necessarily mean better? I once again will state this forum is clearly the best for free, open, dialog and debate. If you post something you will be challenged, questioned, and asked to provide facts.What is wrong with that? The only people who have a problem with that is someone who is either close minded, and or can’t back up their claims or opinions. If they get tired of seeing their “reality” proven to be false and can’t handle it, they leave. Their choice. The biggest thing I can’t understand is why would you leave the best gold and precious metals site when if you don’t agree with or like the politics, just limit yourself to market hours and market discussions! Otherwise you are just cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Bigger platforms, as well as bigger companies, mean either you stick to their script, or you are not one of them.
Posters flock to bigger forums, to get more audience and recognition, like more sheep following their herd. It is akin to small theater versus Hollywood.
For me, many times, claims, or gut-feelings, cannot be backed up with facts, or, the path that lies ahead, that can’t be seen by most at the present time. Then one does not have a fact, to tell why they feel differently now. Many “leaders” are and have been worshipped like God, but that does not mean that those who don’t support such “leaders” have lost their mind. Cases in point, Barack Obama, Narendra Modi (Indian PM)
I first saw this forum 4-5 years ago. Not one year since then has been lossy/red for me. I may make mistakes, but it is the confidence that the folks on this forum instill in me, that makes me come back here every hour I’m awake. Never once I felt like “blaming” anybody here for a wrong call, it always told me that I made the mistake and the only choice now is to learn from my mistake.
Sadly, free thought has been ended in the era of Social Media.
When I opposed FB etc a decade ago, I was called boring and a 35 year old thinking like a 60 year old. The unrepairable damage done by FB, NetFlix, WhatsApp, Instagram, will take monumental time to fix. Billions of hours of productive minds are lost forever. Hence the herds thrive on the belief, that what the herd is advocating now, will lead them to success! Alas, it is not to be! But the herd won’t learn! And no one can teach them! For each individual, the learning and more importantly, the awakening will come to them when they are ready to imbibe the contrarian view. I had such thoughts about 321gold.com back in 2010, but when I found the goldtadise forum, I made it my home page. I still like 321gold.com, and jsmineset. But I will share the name of this forum only with those in whom I see that spark to think different from the herd.

GL I too opposed FB in my 30’s and laid out the dangers to folks. Of course nobody listened. Now we are right where I expected: spying, depressed citizens and worse being force fed the “news” for further regurgitation to other mouth breathers. NF has a series on this which I haven’t watched yet but heard was well done.

Boy, you said a boatload with that post. I used to knock myself out trying to “convert” people to reality, and all I did was grow weary. Like you, I only bring attention to the contrarian view when I see that I am dealing with an open and intelligent mind. About as rare as honest money and honest government. I find 321gold helpful, but have to cherry pick it – no problem there. Not following the herd takes some backbone and a brain. Glad to have you here, GL. Very glad.

Here, in the Silicon Valley, where I reside, everyone I deal with is heaped to the tip of their hairs, into tech … they don’t see anything else. Not even Warren Buffett’s move has awakened them that tech is in a vast bubble. Today, all “they” did was talk about SNOW.
And for the first time in my life, I have put less than a 1000 USD each in SQQQ and SRTY. As they say, put your money where your mouth is.
The Fed didn’t announce anything extraordinary today.
Let’s see how much juice this market has left in it.
Even the big food and household stuff sellers like Costco and Walmart are sweating now that people aren’t hoarding any more! Their 3rd quarter numbers are going to suck as compared to the panic driven sales of the second quarter.
Who is talking about Apple iPhone and other products’ sales numbers?
How long can this charade go on?
Gold miners are 10-20-30 baggers, in the next 2-3 years!

I like Patrick and Northstar a lot and hope that someday they will be able to come back to Goldtent. Having said that and nothing to do with Patrick I bought a bunch of Orefinders quite a while ago at an average cost of .05. It’s hard to make predictions especially about the future but I still like it even where it is now. One would think there will be a digestion phase at some time though but when. And by the way, if Orefinders stays up more or less where it is now, I’m going to break my all time record for money made in one day probably by a good margin. OK, I’m through blowing my horn now (but I’m celebrating). I’m going to have a beer. I can afford it. Cheers.
