I had a Czech neighbour who grew up under soviet occupation/domination. He told me his countrymen didn’t believe government propaganda, but North Americans do. He was right about us. Most of us are willing fools.

That’s the problem. Because the FDA pulled the exceptional use authorization, they are not allowed to prescribe for Covid. Some states are being less authoratative, others more so. Some Doctos are willing to risk being sanctioned by prescribing it but not neccessarily saying it’s for Covid. It is total BS and the main gripe I have with Trump who usually gets things correct. I posted here at the Tent back in June when the exceptional use was rescinded that he needed to fire the FDA Commisioner at the time(think it is still same guy) and override the decision or else he didn’t deserve re-election. He has dropped the ball on this most impotant issue.

Tell the doc you are going on a trip to South America and you need an anti-malarial prophylactic, like HCQ. Keep it in the refrigerator at home. Pharmacy cannot refuse it for malaria.
That’s the problem in US. Most staates follow the FDA guidelines especially the Democratec governor states like NJ, NY,CA etc that still have lockdowns to a certain extent. You can’t get it unless you find a DR. who is willing to risk being sanctioned.

Based on the recently revised CDC numbers (with rounding): 6,000,000 cases in the US, 9,000 deaths that list ONLY covid as an illness on the death certificate.
If you are an otherwise healthy individual, your chance of dying is 1.5 in 1000 or less than 2 tenths of 1 percent!!!
The actual number from CDC website is 0.026% case fatality rate … its a horrific number with only 99.974% survival rate
