I thought I had an identity crisis because I felt I was Liberal but find myself abhorring the Democratic Party and
supporting the Republicans and Trump. Turns out I am not the only one ! Thanks Hearst for posting this among many interesting articles:
Conservative, leaning libertarian (Rand Paul) here. There is still way too much corruption in the Rep party to be a ‘member’. The coalition known as the “Lincoln Project” has an unstated mission to rid this country of DJT but won’t quite ‘endorse’ Biden – ultimately they just want to flip the Senate – traitors. But the Rep party leadership doesn’t seem to care about it. On many critical near-unanimous (REP) votes there are always the usual suspects who killed measures the majority of conservative American’s wanted. Romney/Snowe/Collins/Murkowski and of course the late McCain – Painful that I voted for 2 them for president thinking there was a ‘great’ difference between them – like Kane and Kotos in the Simpsons.
