Surf Nailed it
Surf City Subscribers got a heads up this weekend and had time to go to the sidelines Monday and watch todays carnage with detached bemusement.
However here is a surprising take on what just happened. ( see his Weekend Report. )
If you are missing the “time” part of the equation …Surf has a host of experience with Bressart Cycles .
He can certainly help to prevent you from overstaying a move.
I wish I had listened .
You Go Surf !

Thanks Fully! I actually got out last Friday when GDX & GDXJ both closed below the 10ma.
Even better…you were not seduced back in on Monday !
That’s discipline that serves you and your subscribers well
🙂
With Cycles, Time is very important for finding Cycle Lows, but it is also useful for Tops especially when corroborated by other signals.
It was getting very late in terms of Time, Investor sentiment was too Bullish, Silver was in a Parabola and the miners (GDX & GDXJ, etc.) were underperforming the metals and were the first to drop.
Time is very imporatant in my work and the other signals were all coming together so it was Time to get out.
Can cycles determine next cycle highs price or lows price? Did you have estimates ahead of time how deep this correction was going to be? Other than cooperating charts.. like known support.. fib retracements.. etc? We had a steep correction… but couldn’t of it also been solved be a time laspe vs price drop? Could also be a combination of both.
Patrick, Bressert Cycles methodology have timing bands for Cycle Lows for both shorter term Trading Cycles (measured in days) and longer Intermediate Cycles (measured in Weeks). Once a Cycle High has formed I use Fibs to watch for signals where a lows may form that includes the use of key moving averages. Once you break below a previous Trading Cycle Low (Green arrows), that is a signal you have started a move into a longer Intermediate Cycle Low (ICL).
