US Jobs Numbers Are Out

   This was posted last night. I was critical of Gary in the comments, but do think he makes some decent calls. Not sure about his targets, but perhaps this is the final wash out before the massive launch. Might take a month or so to work out. (He’s call for 7-10K gold before this all ends down the road)

   The vertical price movement and stretch from the LT MAs is more than enough to catalyze a smash. If we were to make a move back to or even within spitting distance of the 50 WMA, which was a regular occurrence during the prior bull (especially after big vertical moves–see 2003 and 2006), we are talking about a $300+ correction probably.

   Gary seems to think that it will pop right back and enter a bubble phase. I find that hard to believe after that much chart damage. In the prior bull, large corrections after vertical price moves could take a year or more to recover, and I don’t see why it would be different this time.

   In this sector, expect the worst and hope for the best, I say. It will do the exact opposite of popular expectations every single time.

   Similar price spikes in silver in 2004 and 2006 took about 2 years to recover.
