Pretty amusing. In the 1990s I bought a for-practical-purposes defunct Idaho silver mining company, US OTC, (SBUM Silver Buckle Mines — NOT a recommendation though for all I know anything can happen) as a long term option in case silver went to outer galaxies since apparently it still had much unmined silver.
For years it didn’t trade or traded for about 1 US cent. I never bothered to sell it since it would not have been worth the time. I just ignored it — worth almost zero. Although today it isn’t at its peak for the year it is about 15 times its 52 day low and I’m vaguely within sight of breaking even (not taking into account the considerable loss in value of USD over decades).
