At this point in the precious metals bull market it becomes all about the charts. One needs to go specific and not all in or all out. There are many extended charts with more than a few having significant gaps. If you are like me, a long term investor and not a short term trader, you should have your core positions that you will be holding for very long term capital gains. You can trade around those core positions on spikes and pullbacks. Let me use one that I recommended not too long ago to illustrate a point. GSV broke out a few weeks back ahead of most. It disappointed last week because a streaming deal they did was in my opinion not favorable to them. They gave away too much. However, I haven’t given up on them and think they can move forward while many others are correcting. The immediate price action will determine if I move on from it or continue to hold for the long term.
