   Interesting. I certainly have no fixed idea where silver prices will go though I own some silver stocks.

   It would be fun for silver to go to new highs.

   Somewhere — not here — in the past few days I saw someone’s comment (somewhere else–I forget where) to the effect that successful speculators in these stocks will be vigilant yet tend to stay with “95%” (from the comment) of their holdings indefinitely.

   I do not know whether the comment is correct, but the comment mirrors my own sense. It is good to be vigilant but it is also good to try to arrange things so that things would ok if, say, one’s internet connection were to be down for a week or two and one were suddenly hospitalized along with everyone else one knew. I try not to get too enthusiastic or discouraged (tough) but rather to focus on selling and buying individual stocks.

     It’s a matter of personal choice of course Karl. We’re in a long term PM (and commodities) bull market now. This means that the buy/hold/add on weakness strategy will be successful. Trading in and out of a vigorous PM bull is fraught with risk. I’m going to keep a core holding until the peak ahead of the drop into the 2023/24 major cyclical low. I’ll attempt to take advantage of any significant pullbacks with the other portion. I’ve also rebalanced my portfolio, putting some into crypto following the ongoing breakouts, more into silver miners and also the Uranium market.

       I doubt you, Northstar, will do badly at all. I infer that you are directed from your own sensible guidance, based on facts.

       Other people however may get whipsawed too much or worse. (I spend lots of energy trying not to be one of them.)

         It’s tough isn’t it Karl ? Fortunately, I learned a lot of lessons last time around and managed to do ok (nowhere near as well as I should have though). Some costly mistakes along the way, which I’m hoping to avoid this time. Good luck.
