Just like T/A using multiple charts, indicators, sources, etc. we use weight of evidence to analyze a situation. This narrative of what is going on in the UK just adds to what continues to be an overwhelming wave of lies, deceit and manipulation. I particularly like the quote about repeated testing of patients known to be positive and counting each time they show as still positive, as if it was a new case!

I’m not sure I believe this *particular* silencing story though I am not prepared to discuss the general case.
In the US the way I believe the way it would work is e-memoranda reinforced by signage. Then group-think or at least group-act: this is what we do. Someone might get taken aside for superficially pleasant reminders about how this is the way things are thought and done. If there was too much dissent a pretext, likely unrelated to the major conflict, would be found for finding the person’s position redundant, even in time of understaffing. There might be some other sort of knife in the back before or after termination, but it would not be obvious since we are all one happy family struggling together against a common threat (both here and at any future places of employment), aren’t we?
But no direct threats that could be quoted.
