Otherwise, following gold’s breakout of its multi-year H&S pattern, the breakout of this “Mother Of All Goofy Asymmetrical Inverted H&S Patterns” has a projected target of about $28.
Chartmaster suggested very approximately a month ago buying the ETF CANE. I liked the chart pattern so I bought a tiny bit. It has done approximately nothing but it has continued to look attractive to date. Now maybe. (Up about 4% today.)
In the 1990s I was told by an old-time market person with significant commodities experience that many futures pros considered soybeans to be the silver proxy or silver forerunner. I haven’t checked SOYB recently. In recent years I don’t think soybeans and silver have been closely coupled in any convincing way.

Well after the HONG KONG news don’t expect China to be buying Soybeans any time soon…
