What is the frequency distribution of your signals?
In other words, on the average do they occur, for example, once a year, once a month, once a week? Do they sometimes get bunched up one right after another, reversing each other frequently then no signal for a long long time?
Approximately.
In other words, is it an uncommon event, really unusually uncommon, to get 2 sell signals within a few days?
I created about 4 billion trading systems that I played with and never ever used (just mock-traded). A few seemed to work maybe as well as that and didn’t have big drawdowns in between but only a few, and only in mock-pretend-trading. So that is one good system I think.
Noman, not being on the bus is a horrible feeling. But trying to trade the back and forth and being whipsawed is even worse. Be right and sit tight. Most people I have heard discuss this will admit their positions that they let ride performed better than the ones they got “cute” with. If you have to do it which, I understand, break up the account and let us see the data at the end of the bull market. 🙂

Nine signals in last two years. Usually separated by minimum of one month but most commonly multi month. 100% correct in last two years.
I consider the two days of signal as one signal and further confirmation.
The signals generate four to 23 percent moves. The signal does not forecast depth.
It generated Friday night so Mondays decline would be sufficient to say it worked.
Thus useful.

I am so miserable being out of the miners I will probably go against my signal just to be happier!
Much happier now. Already green. No price improvement…
