Enron 2.0
I called the original top for TSLA in Feb. and was correct for a number of months. I am totally amazed at the level of insanity in this and the stock market in general. I believe that in years to come TSLA will turn out to be largely a fraud as far as accounting, off balance sheet shenanigans etc. Just like Enron it is a company with legitimate businesses that morphed into fraud. I won’t touch it here until the chart says so but I think this is pure nonsense.
I agree, it will be a Harvard Case study on fraud.
Elon will likely donate some stock to Harvard and as corrupted as they already are they will just sweep this fraud under the carpet. But this is classic phase III blow off stuff we are seeing here. The result of credit (so called money) not being hinged to anything. The newly created credit needs to find a home after being unleashed by the printers and it lands onto the leading object of speculation which happens to be TSLA… that’s all it is.
It’s easily explained since we have seen this before in the dot-com blow off of 1999 and embodied in the hairdresser owning 12 houses in Las Vegas in 2007. It’s all the same and of course it ends the same.
And on a less fraudulent note… silver finally has a 19 handle on it.
Tax free growth AMAZON 2.0
Are you saying ditto on AMZN or do you think this level is justified?
As a Tech company void of legacy costs how long will the TAX FREE expansion continue, I would assume indefinitely under the present accounting standards, if Amazon is an example they may never show a profit (per se)…
So if I understand your response you think AMZN goes higher. I don’t put AMZN into the pure fraud category of TSLA but AMZN will be a lot lower when this market runs out of steam. The company makes nomoney on anything except AWS. They had a huge first mover advantage, great market share and fantastic margins. That is fading with all the competition. Losing market share and margins declinning as competition for what is basically a commodity service heats up. Chart will tell you when but this will top soon enough.
Interestingly the FED is buying bonds supplanting their own lower yielding issues is this the new norm…
Fraud no, pension ponzi maybe certainly FED momo..
I wonder whether it is more that the Treasury, the FRB, and perhaps some international big entities behind them donate money to the Harvard B school so that it comes out with neo-Pravda writeups as these entities also keep propping up TSLA to infinity. TSLA is perhaps a symbol for Treasuries. I perhaps should be buying Tesla myself.
I came across a somewhat interesting interview
https://youtu.be/LNtwEP9EUoQ
(interesting after the interductory minutes) with someone who people familiar with the GATA people will know, a Dave Kranzler. He describes shorting TSLA and any number of stocks with the full knowledge (OUCH!!!!) that they may continue going up up up and still farther up before going down. He says he did that around 1999 and 2000 so he knows it will be painful and possibly for quite a while. I did that a little. It is too painful. Nevertheless the interview I at least found interesting.
I would now like to brag about some DUMB LUCK on my part. I owned some Enron. I preferred owning PM stocks since I thought I understood them (I didn’t). However I thought Enron had the magic touch. I thought I had it figured out how they had it figured out. I bought low (not much but some) and it just kept going up. Did I feel smart! Then I saw that its chart pattern did not look so great in several respects. I figured that it was destined to go far higher, but there was some stupid temporary glitch. I had never sold options before, but here was my chance, so I sold calls for the limited number of shares I owned and hoped I would not have to part with my beloved shares. I made money! But then the chart just looked uglier still! I could not figure it out since it had the PERFECT business model I dopily thought. But I had dicey finances so I did not dare take chances, so I let the chart convince me to sell. Then the bad news started coming out. As with, say, Bre-X, people kept wanting to convince themselves that it was a great company and kept buying on the way down, but…
An example of dumb luck
An example of the usefulness of looking at charts. It was not subtle. It was topping and it was obvious.
interductory – intraductory (I am actually somewhat literate — believe me)
If I were smarter I would think of what TSLA secretly means, as a symbol for Treasuries, since if it is not being propped up and considered as safe as treasuries, many investors or speculators think it is
T = treasury (obvious)
S = Selective
L = Long, Long – term?
A ??? something with “active”??
treasury’s socialized losses for americans?
He chummy with the crazies.
During the virus crisis he got the approval to put 10000 5G satellites in orbite and 1million 5G antennas on the ground.
The 5G pulsing wave open the breathing pores of the human cells and affect the whole body and attack the immnue system
Its THE perfect example of TRADE THE CHART – NOT WHAT YOU THINK. It’s simple buy the breakout and hold until it breaks below your stop level.
