She was arrested in the States? That makes no sense, why would she ever set foot on U.S. soil? I bet she was picked up in the South Pacific 48 hours ago, put on a C-5 Galaxy and given a pat on the back when they landed, “enjoy your freedom Maxi!” Probably would have saved a ton of shipping if they just put her in a crate and sent her straight to the Clinton library.

I hope that no one innocent is implicated (framed). If there are guilty people, I hope that the revelations are not selective. Scapegoating of the less important, or of those of a given faction, or the nearly dead is not particularly helpful.
I hope that the matter is not used to distract from more important issues. People need to learn and relearn, think and re-think many things, big and little, but mainly big.
The worst would be that if people end up spending all their time talking and writing about how horrible some people are who were at most minimially involved. A TV reality show for everyone.
I think vast layers of distortion and distraction befuddle us away from clear understanding of important facts and issues in general. Within this particular matter there are many layers. I have fairly little certainty of ever knowing what actually happened with anything in this matter. I suppose Maxwell was at this house in NH, but I do not know for a fact that she was arrested there. Did she arrive from France or has she been in the US all along? I do not know Did she know that now was a good time to be arrested for this or that reason and was awaiting arrest on that particular time (I’m not going to indulge in the conjectures in public though it’s fun to think about them.)?
