He overcame stuttering only to go out with dementia. I watched as my dad when down that painful road a few years before he died. I don’t want that in a president. He’s got dementia. He’s also got a past as a congenital liar, but he probably has no memory of that anymore.
By the way for a warmonger, words concerning peace mean little in the face of his voting for endless wars.
Like perhaps the Nobel Peace Prize president, bombed brown civilians in 7-8 Islamic countries. In charge for the longest war in US history, in Afghanistan, for no good reason other than to wreck, ruin, enrich, terrorize, etc. Did serial double-tap mass-murder via drone whereby those rescuing the 1st murder are hit by a 2nd drone. The wedding party serial murderer also was a great one for de facto pardoning all the torture under Bush 2. Let’s look forwards not backwards. As if I could torture people and get away with it. Not to mention being front man for looting of all the middle and lower classes of the US and much of the rest of the world, continuing in the steps of Clinton, Bush… ….. But he was so NICE reading from the teleprompter. (As someone once wrote, it was either that career or being a grade B actor.)

Pretty much daily bombings of Iraq, typically of stuff like water treatment plants and sewage systems, also sanctions on stuff like medicines such that hundreds of thousands of children died miserable deaths. Or for a little variation as a distraction during the impeachment trial, bombing a pharmaceutical factory in Sudan. Though a serial mass murderer himself, along with Biden he was a huge supporter of massive incarceration for nonviolent crimes, leading to massive rates of imprisonment in the US, per capita unparalleled. Cheap grifting…. Etc etc.

Nice guys. They speak nicely. George Bush II spoke of compassionate conservatism also. All sweetie pies. Since it’s the policy of the US, which does the policy of the favored few, it’s ok. They sound sweet. That’s why they’re chosen.
A dementia defense might come in handy if by some off chance — hardly likely — one were called to account for some of what one had done.

Bush II was perhaps one of the most disturbing presidents in U.S. history. He was a nightmarish blend of psychopathy and stupidity that was enough to make me physically ill whenever I heard his voice. I can’t wrap my head around how these people can go through life without, at some point, offing themselves for being responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands.
I just don’t know. I am having to rethink everything. Even democracy, since it seems that psychopaths tend to go to the top. The Athenian custom of sortition — drawing lots for people to govern (to be sure excluding slaves(!) — makes some sense, but how to do it on a large scale?

All the presidents look less and less great…Garfield might have done well if not taken out early…some like Polk seem to me horror shows–but our most recent presidents are just ghastly. They even make Nixon, with massive amounts of blood on his hands, his antisemitism and other bigotry. look relatively enlightened. At least I think if one had about 5 years to talk with him in depth and show him different perspectives one might have helped him to a good place, relatively. I ramble as usual.
the founders abhorred “democracies”, which they characterized as two wolves and a sheep voting on what is for dinner. we are a constitutional “republic”, which means that 51% cannot vote away the rights of the other 49%. actually – we all have the same rights and sovereignty as kings and queens without subjects – its just that we are not taught how to act as kings and queens in dealing with the govt. yeah – freedom isn’t free.
biden is a corrupt career politician, just like the clintons, bushes and obama. and yes – his brain is cooked. stopped his rallies because he can’t even fill a high school gym. the dems put him forward only to set up his replacement.
trump – an outsider – was recruited to run as president by patriotic members of the military and intel agencies. remember – the republicans didn’t want him – they spent a $billion to shove another bush (jeb) down our throats.
this is why they have pulled out all the stops to remove him from office. those involved in perpetrating the russia-gate hoax (now obama-gate) are guilty of treason and sedition.

BTW increased CO2 causes dementia like symptoms .
It is always interesting when folks say that masks holds in tons of extra CO2, but can’t stop viruses from getting through easily. CO2 is about 500+ times smaller than the covid-19 virus
I agree with you though that it wasn’t a smart statement. The president can’t dictate that unless he can get a federal law to pass through congress. He can strongly recommend, but that is about it.
To this day I don’t know why people don’t simply align themselves and their beliefs with the voting records of their elected official. DUH! It is all there in black and white for the public to view. Once a war monger always a war monger. I am bored with the choices…

And if you did show signs of dementia for at least the last year in numerous interviews, speeches, etc. Wouldn’t the perfect damage control narrative be to reveal your lifelong stuttering problem.
