More Fake “Numbers”

   But what about those of us who are shy and introverted? Not just about viruses? I think masks with interesting little meshes, lenses, and so forth with varying transmission, reflection, refraction characteristics might be nice for many people to wear to cover their faces. Eyes also need coverage and protection, not just noses and mouths. Personally I like masks for allergies. I wish the mask trend during flu season would gain ground here as in east Asia.

     For that matter, in the summer I spend too much time putting sunscreen on my face. Why not a nice full-face mask, if a nice cool fabric could be found and employed–depending of course on the situation? I use fabrics that don’t transmit rays for shirt and hat per dermatologist. (Actually a vendor of UV-protective clothing has been sending me advertisements for masks that don’t transmit UV — but I mean really interesting stuff for the whole face).

     Why not do as they suggest and then some, UV and much of the rest of the spectrum, and not just nose and face?
