My security won’t let me get to that podcast. What is going on with the human trials? … and if he says once again that “the science is done”, then I would say he is probably in for a bit of a humbling experience.
Doubting potential good news with no knowledge of the situation shows extreme bias.
You doubt this antibody therapy but believe in vaccines ?
How come you have such a bias ?
Why not wait until you cam hear the interview before passing judgement ?
strange to say the least.
I listened to short version a couple of days ago. I don’t doubt antibody therapy, I think it is a smart way forward. However without human trials (serious clinical trials) we don’t know if it is safe and effective. Who said I believe in vaccines? Not me. I am of the same position — without clinical trials we won’t know if a vaccine is safe and effective… and we won’t know the long term effects until a few years go by. That is why vaccine development takes so long.
He said the “science is done”. My response to that is what happens if it doesn’t work that well in the first human trials. Does that mean he won’t go back and restudy/reformulate — of course not. Saying the “science is done” just sounds arrogant.
I don’t mind folks complaining about what I say/write, but it is unfair to criticize me for something I didn’t say. But yes, I am skeptical about treatment and vaccines until they are thoroughly tested. Would I take an experimental treatment if my life was on the line — probably, but not while I am healthy!
If you listened to the podcast, you will see this guy is anything but arrogant. Try whitelisting that site so it can pop up with the player to listen to the podcast. It may save your life in the future if you have to decide whether to take the cure or not. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that. His statement “the science is done” is saying his statement is backed up by science, and it proves that it works. So it is not conjecture. He answers a lot of questions in the interview.
