I guess you can now see where I get my bullish views on gold and silver! Touche!

“…
In fact, you’ll notice these inflationary spikes occurred roughly 30 years apart. And it’s been over 40 years now since the last one…
…”
The last inflationary spike DID occur at the 30 YR point.
> Look at the CRB chart 2002-2005.
According to the 30-yr timeline, the next one is due in early 2030s.
Patrick,
Your source Goldsilver.com might be biased, as they are sellers of Gold and Silver.
Perhaps that’s why they left off the early 2000s inflation spike from their graph. That way it looks like the next spike of inflation is imminent, rather than having already passed.
Remember that was one hell of a miners’ run in the early 2000s, and it was definitely fueled by an inflation spike.
Inflation is baked in the cake now.
Most definitely.
TELL that to OIL !!!
Dont think in absolutes. It can be a.mix of inflation and deflation.. each asset getting hit at different times..now..what is important.. which asset inflation impacts gold price? Is it cost of living? If what I want to buy goes up in price.. that is inflation that matters.. if something deflates.. but I didnt want to purchase it.. does it matter? We need to compartemalize these boogieman words.
