there’s some small-cap biotech companies in the race that could become a winning lottery ticket
I’m afraid to say there will be many false hopes in relation to a vaccine. 12 months minimum, and we need billions of doses, with an unprecedented programme to administer them. Assuming no major mutations by the time we get a resurgence in Winter, some early trials could be bearing completion. Too late to be any use for the Northern hemisphere Winter period. I think its quite possible the virus mutates and returns year after year, with vaccines only partially effective (just like the flu vaccine).
