Not to minimize what is happening elsewhere, here is what is happening in Ohio (all figures from what I believe to be reliable sources):

Ohio Population                             11,700,000

Confirmed cases to date               5,512

% of cases healthcare workers     21%

Deaths                                              213

Projected total deaths                   489 (high of 852, low of 318)

Projected day of peak deaths       April 12th

% of deaths age 70+                        74%

% of deaths age 50-69                    25%

% of deaths age 0-49                       1% (2 total)

Schools have been closed since 3/16 (and will likely not go back before summer break), non-essential businesses have been shut down since 3/23, stay at home order was issued 3/23, and most people I know are scared to death right now.

I am still working at an essential business and am not overly concerned, just trying to be smart about it until we know more about the virus.  I do miss going out to the breweries and out to eat once a week!
