I don’t think we should just dismiss Modern Monetary Theory without actually understanding what it is.
It may be a little too complex to understand at first blush but damn important to understand before we dismiss it

I am starting to think that this MMT is NOT the Fed Printing Money and storing it as “reserves”
But it is the Treasury of the USA printing the money …for starters the 2.2 Trillion package with much more to come
There is a big difference ..no ?
If the Treasury prints money …then who needs bonds ?
I am not smart enough to understand this yet but we need to find out what is really going on here .
The fellow who wrote this article for “Retirement Income Journal” seems to know . I intend to contact him and ask him to perhaps join the discussion here so we can learn more..
At any rate His Journal looks good and I am sure many here will join..I know I will.
