   Hi Steins, I never really thought about ETF’s and why they could fail. I started to look at some of the ETFs which a lot say at least 80% of the funds are invested in the assets listed. What if the other 20% were loaded with absolute crap to the point it weighed down or worse destroyed the fund? Like exposure to some ugly derivatives etc. Just spit balling here but I see the wisdom of being invested in individual companies.

     I just have this one account that I bought GDX and GDXJ in. I was thinking about how Fully likes HGU and wondering if there is a similar one in the US?
     All the rest are spread out in Spock/Plunger and ar5e doing great! About 60 of them. 🙂

       HGU is a 2X the XGD

       I don’t like the leverage at this point in time

       So I a buying and selling XGD only

       Note it’s only on the Toronto echange and of course in Canadian $

       If the Canadian $ drops XGD outperform GDX
