HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW AND WHAT RAMBUS TRADES ?
If so here is his rationale and modus operandi.
Also this post contains some real clues on the new dominant trend which is unfolding and will be in play for a long time to come.

There’s always something to trade at Rambus Chartology ( Rambus and Plunger a Dynamic Duo)

Unless I’m reading it wrong, Rambus is very bearish on gold, saying its still in a 9 year long bear market, with no end in sight, but Plunger thinks 2016 was the bear market bottom, and gold/miners will do extremely well going forwards. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
…which means Rambus isn’t a believer in the PBC view. Again, correct me if I’m wrong. Just trying to see this as clearly as possible.
The Chart you are looking at is Gold : US Dollar ratio chart
Rambus is showing that the ratio chart has not broken out
Gold on its own has broken out
The ratio chart of course is a function of the dollar ….It’s funky
Rambus does not deal in Fundamentals ….its 100% Charts only with him
So we cannot say he does not believe or he does believe in the PBC theory.
Also Plungers PBC theory is more about Gold Stocks making the turn as commodities ( inputs ) being so low helps their bottom line
I do think he believes gold will do well but Miners will do even better.
So In summary
Rambus will turn bullish on the Gold and Miner’s sector if and when the charts show breakouts
Plunger is already anticipating this scenario but allows for a period of weakness here
Plunger has sold all his PM stocks as of Tuesday anticipating lower prices ( perhaps a double bottom)….he is a trader too
What is very interesting is that both Rambus and Plunger using very different analysis ( Charts vs Market History and Dow Theory)
Came to the same conclusion quite a while ago that this present scenario ( Deflationary collapse) was in the cards.
Hope this helps
Thanks for that Fully. It does help. Thanks. I’m planning to get back into the miners slowly over the next week or two – probably about 15 to 20 quality names, including 4 of the ridiculously cheap Uranium plays.
