I have to admit , I am growing weary of this Virus Scare we are living through.

I have been searching for the rational information and railing against the obviously hysterical information.

There is a lot more of the later than the former.

Of course the headlines continue to get Scarier and Scarier

I think the whole world , rightly or wrongly will be in some sort of lock down for a while soon.

Including cancelling of the major Sports leagues thru out the world. This will add to the misery as we wont even have our favorite sports to distract us. Lebron James Just said he would not play basketball in an empty arena. What’s the point ? I agree.

We won’t really know what the real statistics are nor if there can be meaningful containment Until more and more information is accumulated by those charged with such a task.

Chinese Official Statistics offer some very strong evidence that it can be.

But who really knows if the Stats are “controlled” or not.

We can only go by what we see and hope that the tapering off of cases there is a real positive.

Now we turn our attention to the rest of the World and the news coming out every day is more and more frightening.

Personally I feel I am spending way to much time surveying the situation. It sucks the joy out of living !

Generally I like to completely avoid watching the bad news channels as they only make life miserable.

I like to focus on whats good in life. There are so many things !

But so far my attention ..like most every one is being drawn to the scary news.

I will continue to search for positive news ….vaccines , broad spectrum anti virals , improving estimates

But for now …Somber Times

There will be tons of websites to go to to get all the bad news , death counts , dire predictions , botched official responses etc. etc.

I would like this site to be at least a rational counterweight to all of that.
