   You gotta figure if the stock market keeps selling off the Fed will probably cut rates again on March 18 and maybe even reinstitute QE.

   Clearly that is what the yen and USD are already contemplating. We’ll see, things rarely play out when and how you expect them to. Maybe the yen does a mini-moonshot in advance of March 18, and then corrects into end of month.

   Either way, it is hard to see how the yen salvages much of what has already happened this Q by the end of March.

     This is looking more like 2008 crash than late 2018… if the markets dont do a new high im next 3 months.. we could have just seen the top. And I thought we were gonna have a meltup! Those cuts justbaint doing it… too little too late.

       They will do QE guaranteed–on an absolutely monstrous scale. Perhaps the stock indexes will have to test their 200 WMAs first though.

       If that doesn’t stop the bleeding, watch the Fed start asking Congress for permission to buy stocks and corporate debt. A panicked Congress will likely say yes.
