Sorry, but I have a pessimistic view from probably the opposite perspective. I think things will, net, go up a lot, and it will not be a good experience.
I certainly do not know what will happen. As far as I know, the prices of gold, silver, and precious metal stocks could go straight up, straight down, or stay just where they are.
What I expect though is that they will go up and up but repeatedly us feel as if we are losing, over and over again with spikes up that come down but not all the way. I do not think that even if the prices go up it will be at all a pleasant or comfortable ride, and the reasons underlying the net climb will be bad as well. Even the temporary moments of euphoria will feel excessive and will be filled with anxiety.
Slow and steady guys… Another wall of worry… gold will keep climbing at a descent rate over next 3 weeks… and peak when we actually get a rate cut at a FOMC meeting.
