Reserves at Fosterville declined 23% to 2.1 Moz grading 21.8 g/ton.

Now we know why Kirkland was so eager to buy Detour gold, because of the long reserve life at cheap price! Meanwhile Fosterville is producing 0.6M ounces/year, so it has only a 3 year remaining reserve life, not that good.

If the company however can offset Fosterville loss with increasing production at Detour from 0.5M/ year to 0.7M year, then I believe investors will start to look positive again at KL. Not my favorite miner for the moment.
