Mystery Chart Part 2
All right… thanks to popular demand.. here is the famous data for my mystery chart post https://goldtadise.com/?p=455965 !
Now… WTH is this about? More charts to come with zoomed in periods… but the action is damm pretty close to golds in a weird way… Feels sooo weird.
Edit: adding chart for todays setup
Edit: adding final call to get out of gold after last bull era … leading !!!
Edit: final chart.. action when gold was topping for the first time…
Finding somethings… looks to have to do with gold and silver actually.. happy I wasn’t hallucinating about that weird relationship… https://www.ecb.europa.eu/pub/economic-bulletin/articles/2019/html/ecb.ebart201907_01~c2ae75e217.en.html#toc2
Hey Patrick, nice chart and thanks for the look. Did you save that ticker to your watchlist before Quandl went away? I can’t find it and I assume it’s in the economy section on TV? I ask because I saved an LBMA Gold ticker and the data still loads but I can’t search LBMA on another device without it saved. Just curious, Thanks.
WOW.. finally got my data going back to the late 1960’s!!!! Paste this in tradingview.com: QUANDL:LBMA/GOLD
Thanks Schism… now I have to redo all my gold charts!
Yes, I’m a data nerd and want as many bars as I can get. TV used to have XAU/XAGUSD all the way back to the 1920’s, copper/PLat to the 60’s ect… I filed a ticket complaining about it but they said it chewed up too much data and cut it short. Now I have to order data and upload into Stockcharts for my 100 year old gold/BGMI charts. Thanks again
Hi Schism. Yep.. I had to open a support ticket with TV to get all this sorted out. You can still access all quandl data on TV.. but you have to manually
enter the ticker. Ex. Quandl:USTREASURY/REALYIELD … also all the tickers can be found on the quandl website itself.. look for the quandl code in upper right of these types of pages https://www.quandl.com/data/USTREASURY/REALYIELD-Treasury-Real-Yield-Curve-Rates
Great, Thanks Patrick
Also.. if you want to do arithmetic on those.. you have to put single quotes around. Ex. To get gold to real rates ratio: gld/’quandl:ustreasury/realyield’
