I just set some alerts on trend line crossings… I like to check the breadth of an index and see where is the room for growth.. and when the % of stocks are above their moving averages… the “fuel” to keep climbing gets a little harder. So I’ll watch from the sidelines… until…
Uptrend lines for Commodities work well for me but Stocks seem to be the one sector where are very often broken, only to have price find a mild lowand move higher. Using trend lines on the SPX only works for me when I add Time to the equation.
hey surf! that is all I’m looking for.. a correction… no crash.. just low enough to scare the market and force fed to cut rates.
