Things are o.k. now but they can turn on a dime. I don’t mind so much when it’s mainly doom and gloom. So far it’s not generalized BREAKOUT!!! mode in commentary from diverse sources so I don’t feel too jinxed yet, but I’m preparing to get apprehensive if this keeps up. Maybe it will back down comfortingly a little tomorrow morning.

But the appearance of all the BREAKOUT!!! charts with the upward spikes in the charts evokes unpleasant PTSD flashbacks of Metropole rockets shooting upwards.
(Fullgoldcrown and I used to subscribe to a service where with anything more than the slightest move upwards the website’s proprietor would put up pictures of rockets firing upwards. The site’s proprietor then would write as if the gold and silver prices were going to tens of thousands of dollars — imminently — and we’d all be rich — peace, prosperity, justice, and good governance would soon prevail on earth, and more. His rocket pictures so commonly heralded downs in precious metals prices that subscribers would beg him not to put up the rocket pictures. That’s how I feel about seeing too many the breakout charts often. Maybe my feelings are also informed by some Space X or Tesla misadventures also.)
