Forty years ago, with apparently too much spare time Pre-Internet, and thinking about the future for our 2 young sons, we came up with the idea that 2020 would be an important (not good) intersection in time of various forces:  such as population pressures, water and energy problems, financial chaos, social unrest, barbarians at the gate, war, pollution, climate shifts, food shortages, blah, blah and blah.

Well, here we are just 3 weeks away, and realize that our dire projection for 2020 was actually pretty optimistic!  The amazing assortment of bad sh*t in every direction is pretty much mind boggling. 2020 is certain to be memorable, but probably in uncalculated ways!
