Arcs applied to Silver 1970-today
Just realized arcs help visualize the possible upcoming change in trends… from declining.. to basing… to inclining. That pretty much what Stage Analysis is… The added value of this visualizing property is expectations management. Instead of day dreaming how silver is going to da moon now… you can see a potential road map in time… making you tone down those emotional ups and down.. that will eventually break you (and your nav) if not contained.
Edit: Adding angle of entry and exits for arcs… seems to be mirror image (something again I picked up from NorthStar).
Thanks for the excellent chart. I need some toning down of emotion. 🙂
I keep finding myself wanting to hit the fast-forward button to get to the hoped-for peaks ahead. Then I have to remind myself that I have all too few years left and instead should be trying to slow things down — or go backwards.
Its the journey thats is priceless.. not the destination… how you played and lived the ups and down.. that is life
Thanks! It’s not gonna go to all time highs in one day.. or week.. or month, so patience is your best asset right now.
Beauty Charts Sir Patrick.
Patrick, this may be your best historical chart yet. Your ‘4th bull era’ count puts us in a comparative spot of the 2nd bull era circa 1977. This places us in a much stronger Déjà Vu source than my pointing to the early 00s! Mega-Parabolic.
Alfa8, I had a similar thought after doing this chart. The arcs are really usefull… but the log chart even more soo intriguing
Yes Patrick, Thank you for using Log charts now for historical studies!!
They show quite a different proportional story for a long-term chart like this of Silver:
1972-1980 Wave 1
1980-2001 Wave 2
2001- ? Wave 3
If a prolonged deflational rout doesn’t ruin things, we could be in the middle of Wave 3. Wouldn’t that be somethin’ ?!
What is the measured move to end of wave 3? Is there measured moves in elliot wave theory?
Probably somewhere in the area of $150… which in the dark of night actually seems highly unlikely!
