We got pretty close numbers… Here is the conclusion from Mr.Clark: “…Bottom line: Initial support at 20-week ema ~$1460, better at 50-week ema ~$1400 and best at 15% percentage decline ~$1330. We will provided buy alerts when signals become timely. …” . For this Stan Weinstein Stage 2 to remain “healthy”, I do not want to see a close below the 30 week sma, right now at 1430 (every week this climbs up). I also have a hard stop if we close below the 12 month sma, currently sitting at 1387 (and climbing every month). Whatever the reasons why gold goes up or down… we need to recognize when the trend is not our friend anymore.
I touch base with various TA’s and their compatibility.
There are two Elliott wave counts- one bearish and one bullish.
If gold closes below 1345 the bullish wave count will get discarded. Only bearish wave count will remain as main count. That will confirm major trend change.
Agree weekly 30ema or 30sma (?)should hold. a breif violation may occur.
