   What's more, I think the could be's generally may tend to be correct, even ones that seem to be at odds. Many of the different opinions may be right or at least they seem sound.

   Looks to me as though it's likely to go down (not sure how much) short to medium term, but the longer term tendencies are up. Extremely tough to call. Depending on one's situation (taxes, risk tolerance, personal finances, willingness to stare at the markets…), the the idea that many people have suggested of hedging by having raised cash seems reasonable. I have raised plenty, perhaps not enough.
