Now, IF the next leg up for Gold and Silver is more analogous to the 2003-2008 move, then using the gold to silver ratio has some more conservative targets, further stretch in time before reaching them!
I have a feeling the next leg won’t quite look like this, or ANY of my other predictions… which is kinda super cool!
Very useful analogy, thanks Patrick. I’ve long said that the time taken to reach the old highs will tell us an enormous amount about what we can expect for a final high as we approach the year 2030. So far, gold price is rising towards the top end of my projections, giving me some confidence that we’re going to $3000+ for gold and $50+ for silver.
I keep using the previous ascents as possible next moves… but your graphs are giving me inspiration to use the closer descents move that led to the consolidation base as the speed of exit of the consolidation move (kind of a prolonged V shape recovery). If you are correct, then indeed the blast off will be more violent than even my greediest of scenarios.
