   Really good one, as usual. Rather unlikely to go that low, but hard to know now. As you note, it would still be a bull market even going that low.

   My only quibble is the word “ultimate”. Depending on the time frame, one’s criteria, and the decision on when to mark the beginning of the bull market it could go even lower and still be part of what in the future would be seen as a bull market. Let’s say one uses early 2016 as the beginning and draws a line that continues through the low of the summer of 2018. One could have it going down to well to around this line well below 1300 to form a temporary low from which to rise. That’s just one of multiple ways one could argue that it could go even lower and still be seen years from now as having been part of a continuing bull market. If you own the sounder stocks you probably do really well over the long run even if you aren’t clever enough to get out in the highly unlikely event that things turn really sour for a while, though for a while you’ll be pretty unhappy.

   Again, I’m just being deliberately perverse for the fun of being perverse and agree with you on your scenario.

   The Major support is Not 1320

   It’s 1360 IMHO

   AND its all well and good to say we are in a Bull market in either case but lets be real here….this would destroy our accounts !

   I can see support above and below the spot I’ve marked on my chart, but the bowl basing pattern is the centrepiece of my bullish thesis. Therefore, in my mind, it must hold, with my personal ultimate line in the sand being the base of the bowl.

   Looks like China deal on the way, atleast a compromised version of deal.
   It may put dent to the recent rally for few weeks, Miners are already weak, the gains over the last 2-3 months already evaporated.
   Only guys, who bought in late May and keep holding are safe for now, not sure what happens, in next few weeks.
   Technically, the June gap on charts can be filled, but emotionally, we may feel it an another bear market Rally so far.

   Lets see..

     Not how I see it.
     But those still holding will have a (brief) chance in 2-3 wks to change their minds.
