Gold Silver ratio normal range?
Finally it is below 80.
Gold to Silver ratio GSR at 79.5
One can with confidence say PM sector is in up trend for years to come now.
There is a huge gap left below in 2011. Top gaps may not ever get filled but bottom gaps some day always get filled.
What is the normal range for GSR?:
In 2017 TSI had this research post:
“The gold/silver ratio’s performance over the past five decades suggests that the 45-60 range can now be considered normal, with moves well beyond the top of this range requiring a banking crisis and/or bursting bubble and moves well beyond the bottom of this range requiring rampant speculation focused on silver.”

question on site:
I noticed some of archived posts have “comments off” many even older dated ones don;t.
???
“Top gaps may not ever get filled but bottom gaps some day always get filled.”
What if it were a SGR instead of a GSR?
SGR is inverse of GSR. So yes it will. But it says “may”.
I like your contrary thinking.
Some day I will trade some silver coins for gold coins. So at what g/s ratio would you trade silver for gold?
1:1
🙂
YEAH BABY!!!!
Last time in 1980 GSR was 15:1 (inverse)
1:1 would be very nice.
