Yes, I prefer to get in after the Financing stage or early construction stage…not that it’s a lock but most of the hard work has been accomplished and if were in a long term BULL these Miners will often be more resilient and have a chance for exponential growth…
If you can find it, I recommend Spock’s very last comment on VIT from perhaps 2017 to anyone subscribing if you can find them. Subsequent events might reinforce and amplify the grounds for the comment.
Also worth considering are recent public comments by “Otto” on VIT at IKN. As noted above, OR recently sold. I am not at all sure that “Otto” has any great affection for the #1 of OR (Sean Roosen), but as Otto notes, the highly astute Roosen knows his way around. Otto’s comments are accompanied by finance numbers. A company can produce like crazy and not make money for its shareholders. Roosen would be interested in bringing in money not so much in moving rocks.
However a massive increase in Au prices w/o concomitant increase in costs can change everything; many stock prices go up in an up market; for all I know Roosen could be even trickier than Otto realizes somehow in a backwards sideways way so that things aren’t as they seem; and I don’t know all that much and make plenty of mistakes and may just be a bitter former shareholder.
A disclaimer is that I own a bunch of OR and have for some time and I happen to own other Roosen-related stuff.
It may not be Spock’s very very last comment on VIT from 2016 or 2017 but his last set of comments worth noting.
The big question is not so much whether there is going to be production or even a lot of production. The question in capitalism is whether there will be profit.
