Neither Kitco nor anyone else seems to be quoting the London Gold Fix even though it is 3:52 pm already. They are not even giving the 10am AM fix and it’s time for teh PM fix already!
Looking for a fix over £1200 inGBP. I don’t think there was ever one > 1200 GBP in 2011 but I am not 100% sure (or even $1900 US – I think the peak might have been $1895 as per London Gold Fixes in 2011).
Waiting for someone to try and smash it below £1200, or caught like a rabbit in the headlights ?
I believe Kitco is a Canadian company based in Montreal – as such today is a civic holiday for us and a long weekend .

Still don’t get it. I can’t find today’s London fixes on any website, not even a UK one. Maybe the London fixers had a day off too! Everyone is still showing 2 August.
I think I get it now. Yesterday’s London Fix is on Kitco today so of course you were right about the Canadian holiday. As for the other sites where the data was missing, I guess they get their data from Kitco. It probably shows that Kitco is something of the Oracle when it comes to gold sites and a lot of the others just buy their data. Strangely though, I couldn’t even find yesterday’s gold fixes on the LBMA’s site yesterday!
